How would you feel about selling up, giving away and throwing out all of your worldly possessions?
Downsize from a large 3 bedroom apartment & a lifetime of stuff, to a backpack of clothes, phone and a laptop?
This was that task, and what I found the most challenging was the change in mindset from trying to buy happiness, to one of being happy with less. It was going to be a journey of minimalism and it sounded tough, however it was that or kiss my early retirement goodbye before it began.

Making a decision for slow nomadic travel lifestyle is one thing, but having the courage to make it happen is another thing entirely!
In 2011 this was not trendy for the veteran & boomer generations. Yes there are the Grey Nomads, but full time House & Pet Sitting was in its infancy. We were talking budget travel, which meant doing things differently and making it up as we went along...
What do you do when you desire a full time, slow nomadic travel lifestyle, but have been told by all the so called experts you can't afford it, and must wait till you retire.
You make a decision to leave the experts and normal behind & go "Living Beyond Normal" & embrace early retirement.
We did and you can to!
This is the story of how our House & Pet Sitting Global Lifestyling journey began...
How and why we got started on this Nomadic Travel Lifestyle and how it has unfolded as we travel within Australia and globally.
